Well if it was a Hawker 700 like ours, the rudder bias would kick in

My bad Dave, I was just reading from the pilot's report of the event but he must have been speaking of another instance and not the one pictured here.

Yes, the pilot was probaby referring to a display at Wanaka or Wigram, where due to the shorter runways they actualy take off elsewhere and fly in low to start the routine, so the first move is a simulation of that take off I guess. So, we were both right, and in the instance of the photo it is a genuine take off.
