It is just a program like Word or anything else. You open files up with it just as you would another document, your files are just stored on your hard drive or media or whatever. When you are working on somethign you save it in Adobe format and then you just save it as whatever file type you need to end up with TIFF JPEG GIF whatever.

So is photoshop just a program that you open from your desk top once it is installed, and you just upload pics to it?

It is a program you open files into that lets you manipulate color, size, and light levels. Plus it allows you to create effects.

You may want to take advantage of the free trial offer, where you can use it for a perod of time before you commit to pay for it!

Can anyone guess what the four images are?

face, bricks, hand and badge

Actually... no. Badge and hand are from the same shot. The hand and wrist are made up of two shots... one film, and one digital. The actor couldn't take the badge off set (for obvious reasons), and there wasn't enough wrist to fit the image....

Cheers, Richard

This is an attempt to colorize an old b&w photograph. Did a lot of splicing and cutting and still have quite a bit to go. A lot of shadow and background work still need to be done. Here is a work in progress.

Bored one day at home, haven't had much free time since. Two planes in formation created into a small squadron

Here's one we staged so that I could photoshop it, from a Halloween party last year. Lower one of course is the original.
