Thanks for the info, Steve. I'd love to see her with a glass nose, but like you said, it's great just to see her flying.

Hey if the CWH ever does equip there 25 with the glass nose I coud take the gun nose off there hands if they didnt mind? :wink:

Always liked the gun-strafer B-25's.

Back in 1970 or '71, I visited Teterboro Airport and remember a pair of B-25's within a fenced
enclosure. My fading memory seems to recall that they were in pretty rough shape.
Certainly not as nice as the ones posted here in the photos. Bendix had a building on the edge
of the field. Is there a relationship there? Does anyone remember those B-25's?

According to WD4 the 2 B-25s at Teterboro during that time frame were 45-8882 and 44-31104.

Well that's interesting, Bryan. I didn't recall them being J-models...shux, I barely
remembered there being 2 of them. I wish I had photos to share to confirm.

Neat to know 31104 was begun restoration using parts from 8882 and 8882's gun-nose
is, or was, at the USMC Quantico museum. An intriguing thought... that I might see both
birds in one machine one day if Reilly or a customer ever completes that project.
