I was obviously misunderstood - I didn't say that the term BUFF with two Fs has never applied to the B-52 . . . I've spent too many years at Barksdale to say that!

In theatre at Guam and U-T during Vietnam (as I specified ... that's what I meant by "SEA crews") - to combat crews the D-model was BUF, and only BUF. Check out the party suits, et al, not to mention talking to the Vietnam D-model dudes, as I've done on this specific point.

It became BUFF later as the term filtered out, and of course it's BUFF now to everybody, but right is right. On that note, is it Razorback Mustang or what?? :lol:
