This is news to me. I of course know of the Sabre in the air park. Is there another? If so where did it come from?

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

I think Peter means the CF-100 that was brought to the museum from the Air Cadets on the other side of Hwy 2. It is sitting in the airpark dismantled. You may even have a photo of it if I remember right.

This is a recent photo I took

Sorry to stray off topic, as I seem to do regulary, but seeing the picture of the CF-100 caught my curiosity. Are there any airworthy CF-100's around that just aren't being flown? I know the one in CWH is in near flyable condition, having been flown into the Canadian Aviation Museum before becoming a static bird. Unfortunately being owned by the Canadian Aviation Museum, and only on loan to CWH, it will likely never fly again. I'd love to see one fly some day, especially if I were in the pilot seat. I couldn't imagine paying the maintenance and fuel bills though! At least a Sabre only has one gas guzzling engine in it!

Mike..

Great to finally heard the official comfirmation on the Sabre.

And you will have to let us know when the FG-1D arrives. Early October is getting close.

:D Based on the N-number in the first posting the bird was sold by Courtsey Aircraft Sales. They list a sale of a Sabre with same tail number.
