This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Chris wrote:Welcome Ryan, Timing is everything as they say. Nice weather all winter. I take care of a couple planes down at Stellar. T-6, Staggerwing and P-51. The Stagger and T-6 will be at the Prescott show in a couple of weeks. The P-51 is currently at Palomar in California. Long-wide runway for the owner to gain some confidence. Stellar is a little short and narrow but therwise a great little place. I'll be at Midland but you're certainly welcome to drop in anytime. Check your PM.
Heck, I am just down the street from Stellar... I can't wait! I am going to try and make it to the Prescott show... and will try to tempt my wife along by promising a stayover in Sedona. We'll see how that goes!
If the owner was looking for long and wide... why not Williams Gateway? There's three of them!

We'll see how it goes! One of my old professors lives in Park City now and I have promised him that I'd fly up and see him sometime over the year... Wendover is not THAT far from there (in Utah miles that is). You might be getting a call from me out of the blue!

Hey Dr. - Glad to meet you and I look forward to meeting you in person! I'd love to take a gander at Luke one of these days and take some photos of gate guards for the Warbird Registry and AerialVisuals.ca. Let me know if that can be done via your escort?
Thanks!

Dr,
Good to see you at the Round Up. Wish we could have had more time to BS about old times (And trash the Warbirdnerd since he wasn't there to defend himself!). Let us know when you're going to pop up to "Gods Country" and we'll all get together. 'til then, keep piling up the T-6 time...I'm sure there is a Mustang out there somewhere with your name on it...
Mark the Chino show down on your schedule...I'll be there in '08!

Hey Ryan,
I'm over in Ahwatukee, and keep my airplane at Chandler. Welcome to the neighborhood!

Hey Scotty, thanks for the welcome! I had no idea that the valley had so much racer activity... I have always wanted to help out with a crew... any openings for a neophyte like myself? I don't have much in the way of tech skills, but am a quick learner...
After so many years with the Collings Foundation, you'd think I'd have more... but I learned how to be a manager and blabbermouth (read: PR and marketing specialist) more than anything!

Hey Ryan,
Yeah, we had Chris McMillin there, but he's moved to California. Pat McGarry is a hangar down, and there is also one of the female biplane racers and me. Unfortunately, my bird is for sale. But that was nice of you to offer! Let me know if you want to grab a beer sometime.
