This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Looks like the bird had her water bay removed ( its in one of the pics), and they had a lot of extra parts so probably had started to try and do "some" reconditioning of the aircraft.
The water tank would have added back in some of the missing structure.
Hope they haven't flown her this way to much.
I'd buy it in a heart beat just to paint her back up in the always colors.=D

The only structure that I could see missing is for the bomb doors and racks, and some of the stuff involved with the turrets and gunner position. The bay looks just like Spirit of Waco's (from what I remember from 30 years ago ...) when we took all the OnMark interior out that was left in her.
The water tank appears to pick up the bomb door hinge points and some structure that appears to have been bolted to several of the frames fore and aft of the main spar, so all it really did was add some stiffening to the bomb bay with the doors removed.
There might be more done, but from the pictures it's impossible to tell. The biggest trick is going to be getting her out of beig liscensed in the Limited-Firefighting category. It will take time and effort and money besides finding knowledgeable people at whatever FISO that will acutally do their job without being mindless officebots!
