My Grandfather was Norman E Ott in the 9th Weather Recon. His plane was nicknamed "the Lady Alice" I don't know how much additional information any of you have on the squadron. If any of you come across any info on Norman or his plane please pass it on. I would really appreciate it.

Here's an interview I did with one of the pilots from that squadron - George Brooks:

Has ben a while for this but I just found this short film on U-tube about this squadron .
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DB-IxQIs6nM
Amazing since not much is known about the 9th WRS .
Has 2 P-51B's towards the end that got the blood going and thought I would add here just incase others are interested .
Had some negatives of some of these but lent them out and have not seen them again.

Going through my old Air Classic magazine that has a brief article about this squadron .
The pilot with the dark hair and dark mustache is Capt. Alberto Nido I believe .His P-51B is the one with a Malcolm hood and 'Alile" in front of the cockpit. Code 80-N serial number 43-6321 .
The other P-51B you can see the whole left side . 80-U 43-6374 ' Little L?????' . I can't read the last name.
This Pilot I can't tell as the photo's in the magazine are not very clear, to me.
