The NMUSAF has some B-17 parts that were recoverd from the channel on display through out the WWII Gallery. It is very interesting to see, and it makes you really think about what those guys did for our freedom.

Chris, Doesnt the museum also have pieces of a B-24 pulled out from one of the ploders in the Netherlands?

That is correct. They actually have a good bit of stuff from different aircraft. We have an entire verticle off of a 15th AF B-17, and alot of things recovered from crash sites.
