Oh for crying out loud.....just got home from 2 days of fishing and found BlueDharma's message about this....Mark just literally got this bird out of the paint shop about a month ago, I posted some shots on the Liberty Belle post a few weeks ago....can't believe the bad luck the Colorado warbirds are having, what with Greenwood then Zayac then this....I sincerely hope Mark is OK and can get it back in the air somehow...

A great shame - there are far too few Venoms and Vampires still flying, and this one looked as if it was owned by a real enthusiast.

Sadly, it looks like the aircraft is not economically rebuildable - the fuselage is mostly burnt out from looking at the pics, with the fire in the fuel tank taking out most of it.

At the very least, a new fuselage pod is required, but I reckon the wings will have suffered from that fire as well.

There were a few Venoms available in the UK recently - perhaps they may be the way to go.
