I looked, but didn't find you...

I was just to the left of the P-40s up by the rope the entire day. Where were you situated?

Hope you don't mind if I post some stuff... here's a few from early on Saturday.

I was sitting between the last 2 tents to the left of the P-40's.

I looked all over for you buddy. :( I was bummed I didn't get to meet you.

That doesnt look like a good way to land a P-40. He will catch a prop that way.

Clown 1 reporting in. Mike and I were on our way to shoot 3 P-40s so you have the right to call us whatever you want. Great shooting Dave and to bad we never did see each other or at least I never saw you.

Cheers,

Eric

The corsair on grass looked kinda funny - don't see that much - kinda out of the norm....

LOL , I looked all over for ya Eric, I know at this show you are a busy man and hard to locate. The air to air are excellent.

Hi Guys,
The heavy rain during the morning on Sunday really put a damper on the flying in the afternoon, even though the weather was beautiful later on. "American Beauty" and the Potter Mustang departed through the puddles, but the rest of the fighters were waiting until Monday to leave due to runway conditions.
Saturday was definately the best day, but I would have to say that the highlight for me was sitting for an hour with Col. Lee Archer and Capt. Roscoe Brown, listening to some great stories. I also had an opportunity to talk to "Speedy," who was the radio operator of the HAG's C-47, flying his first combat mission on D-Day. It was really exciting for him to be reunited with the actual aircraft that he flew aboard during his time in Europe.
There wasn't much going on in town Sunday night.......I mean that town was DEAD after the airshow  The drive home was a lot easier on Monday morning.
See you next year.

Well I showed up at 10:30am on Saturday so missed some of the early stuff, including my friend's Stampe, and left at 3pm due to tiredness and heat among the three of us that went. It was my first time going to Geneseo, and definitely not my last! I think next year I'll stay overnight Friday so I get there nice and early and am refreshed enough to stay until the end!

I'm still going through my pictures, but here's a few of the ones that I am somewhat pleased with. I got a new lens the day after the show, hopefully that will help me improve my photo quality for Thunder! As always, any constructive criticism is appreciated so I can get some better pictures in the future!
