Anyone ever seen one of those Hubley toy airplanes with the folding wings? I always thought it was supposed to be a P-47 and they put folding wings on it for smaller packaging, but after seeing those photos of the Sea Hawk perhaps they modeled the toy after that. Hmm....

Why do I seem to remember that there was one saved somewhere? This is going to kill me now.

Totally from recall (and I'm not getting any younger), but I seem to remember significant remains of one or two that lasted into the 70's...floatplane outfit in Canada or Alaska maybe?

I didn't realize that the Sea Hawk was that big, but I seem to recall that there is one stashed away somewhere too.
