- 4 He-60e in service at Pollensa in Spain untill 1948.

- He 274V1 flown by the French as the AAS 01A, was broken up at Marseilles-Istres late 1953

- Ju 86K used by Sweden untill 1958

- Groupe FFI Dor established on Sept. 4 1944 in France equipped with Ju 88A-4s against the Germans.

- Ju 88s used by the French at the navigational and gunnery training school at Cazanx, with some still airworthy untill the early 1950s.

- Ju 290A-6 (werk-nr.0185) flown to Barcelona in the last week of April 1945 with escaping high ranking nazis on board. This aircraft was then purchased from the Allied commision responsible for the disposal of former enemy assets and was used by the Spanish air force untill it was scrapped after a minor accident in the mid 1950s due to a lack of spares.

- Ju 188Es and Fs (10 to 12 of) used by the French Aeronavale immediately post war.

- Ju 352A-1 refurbished by Czechoslovakian air force in 1946, was then flown to Moscow carrying a Tatra car as a gift to Stalin, the Aircraft was then presented to the Soviet air force.

- Me 109Es used by Spain untill mid 1950s

- Me 109Gs in Finnish service untill 1954

-The Swiss used their Me 109s untill 1949 including at least 4 interned Luftwaffe aircraft.

Thank you Hairy. I couldn't remember what it was! I was looking at a couple of pics in a book at the Spanish Air Force Museum this autumn - a great 'might have been'.
