Hey buddy -JackCook shore is ah scannin' fool, ain't he? Shoot, bought me some offa him a while back. Them shore is some purty pics he done sent me. Ah done putem in mah album s with the slik pages to keepem fresh lookin.

I'm fixin' to buy sommoar when my workmens' comp chek come in. My boss'es roof caved in on my haid and the state said ahm entitled to dability paymints. Would hav been all right ecept for the load of briks that come down inon me aftert the roof on my haid.Jack, he don' giveem away, but the piks are worxth it. :roll:

No...no...no...there's nothing wrong with your english. It's just that sometimes we Americans lapse into some pretty obscure colloquialisms that don't translate well into other languages. Sometimes American english doesn't even translate well to English english.

That ok. American Maintenance Manuals in WWII had an American to British Glossary in the back so that we would know what a spanner is.

Interesting way to learn English is to listen Rap... I just listen some of them and I do believe that my terms going to be worster.... 'mo terms 'mo problems :)

Actuallyy Rap could corrupt your ever increasing vocabulary. Try watching American/English Television. I know that several of my German and Latino friends that learned english watching television.
