This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Wow, that is really really uncalled for. That is banning material in my opinion. August you make a good point.
I guess when you're in the minority you have to expect this. Best we end this part of the thread now before it goes overboard.... So, how about those Donkeys and Horses.... Funny stuff.... (Adjusts tie)

P.S. I'd love to comment about the politics of the US right now, but I don't think that has anything to do with C-47's, horses, or donkeys. Maybe in Off-topics, but not here.

On second thought, I just read the list of rules Scott put together and I will not be posting anything of political nature in the off-topics section.

Mod post. I've just had my attention brought to this thread, interrupting a much more enjoyable cup of tea after a hard day with aeroplanes. Thanks.
August - Bill wasn't banned for being a liberal (under any of the four definitions of the term I'm aware of) but for being intolerant of others being allowed to express their views, and utter certainty of his own rightness in the face of evidence - quite a good definition of bigotry in my understanding. For the third time, I don't like to discuss matters where a participant can't defend himself, but that's no worse than ascribing positions not actually adopted.
Poor behaviour and second rate political jokes are not acceptable from any side of the political spectrum - and frankly, I've had enough US political drivel here lately to last several lifetimes, and like many others here - I'm not interested - so can it, thanks.
Back to warbirds please.
