I've sent bids to Slayton on the P-39 and B-25. They tell me they downsized to one day due to the economy. Just 6 June now.

Flyingsailor, you know if Pardue is performing at the Slaton show?

I believe Howard (and some Tora birds) is scheduled to be up this way, as well as the Airborne Demo Team from OK as well as Matt Younkin and the twin beech. I haven't heard about anything else yet.

I can confirm that the WWII Airborne Demonstration Team will be jumping, assuming the famous West Texas winds are reasonable! The Silent Wings Museum in Lubbock is also having a Friday/Saturday D-Day Commemoration event the airborne team (and the Slaton folks) are participating in; for more info, see:

The Silent Wings Museum, for those who aren't familiar, is the museum of the WWII glider program and her pilots, many of whom trained in Lubbock.

Regards,

Andy
