Location: Hong Kong mostly but UK sometimes...
In the early '70s [and probably still now] many of the PSP strips were still in use providing a essential social service...

Places like Seghe [Sege] had the PSP covered in tropical moss type growth and after 25 years of this not being scraped off made for interesting arrivals in the 'wet' season as the wheels were now on this growth which slid over the PSP with the effect that there was no braking per se.

I came across heaps of that PSP whilst I was up north last year!! I loved my trip to a disused WW2 airfield where in one of the hangers was all this bundled as new PSP
