Hello,Clifford.Been working weekends to fill in for some folks,That is done for a while though, The name of the town is Luzhon or Luzhong or something like that.Need to get in to the files on the aircraft to find the place.All the info is documented in the file but cant get to it now.Hope this helps.The guy in Dallas that was along cant remember eather,but knows it was 700 or 800 miles from Beijing..

I see a few different Luzhongs in China, so if you happen to know the province or the general direction from Beijing I would be interested to know.

The Il-2 thread got me thinking about the Tu-2. Wasn't there a thread about these a while back that had pictures of a couple of them being loaded onto trucks and being shipped to destination unknown? It would be really interesting to see one of these take flight, they are definitely my favorite Russian aircraft of the era.

I remember that thread as well. Seems the photos upset some people and they were pulled down. The thread caught my attention because it was alleged that they were coming to Delaware. I called around to a few places and people and nobody seemed to know anything about the pair of Tu-2s.
