ok........ i'm putting up 5 bucks to the winner who can i'd those 3 mini models by september 5th . 2 are are probably a gimme, but the the 3rd may throw you a few curve balls. if you win, pm me w/ your address & i'll send you a money order toward your next 12 pack of beer. sorry.....yanks only, i'm not paying for overseas postage & rate of exchange in u.s. bucks too!! our economy is bad enough as it is. my wife would murder me if she knew i was dicking around like this with our $$$$ :snipe: oh well.... it's all in fun!!! maybe if there is a loser we can go double or nothing!! :hide:

They look like a Rufe, a Mosquito, and a Halifax, but that photo is so darn small. With my 8x loop all I can see are pixels!

correct on the 1st 2. like i said they should be easy, but no on the halifax, the 3rd plane is the stumper!!!

Well, with that top turret, mid-wing with squared tips, angled verticals etc., it really looks to be Series I or early IA Halifax, but could it be listed for ID training purposes as a Handley Page Halton I?
Any chance on that?

jerry you win!!! my apologies & my mistake!!! my vision is really going south!! man am i a schmuck !!! i thought it was a manchester. went into my office to double check with a magnifying glass, sure enough.... halifax under the wing. cripes!!! and i'm the author on the silhouette i.d. article!! p.m. your address & i'll send you a money order for 5 bucks. sorry the prize isn't wheel of fortune caliber but it was fun!! congrats!! put the $$$ toward a good six pack, no rot gut!!
