So, you're telling me that it's OK to watch Sgt York while holding my 1903 Springfield ? They Died With Their Boots on with my 1873 Trapdoor Carbine ?

I am so relieved, I thought it was just me !

We brought her from: Image to this in 3 months: Image Help us get her all the way back Image

All donations are tax deductible as the Stockton Field Aviation Museum is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Tell a friend as the Harpoon needs all the help she can get.

Thank you!

I can do pretty much the same thing if I put on 'Black Sheep Squadron' and hold up the part of Bob Guilford's old Corsair that I have in my possesion (it participated in a half day of shooting, I'm told)....but I won't, as it is a tiny uninteresting piece and not as dramatic as a turret.
A few years ago, we lived in downtown Olympia and Bryan Reynolds would take his Corsair out over the bay every now and then.
One afternoon I had the day off for a federal holiday when I was active duty and my wife came home, went ballistic right at the door, you married guys know how this work. She yelled at me to turn off the TV as Blacksheep was playing (this was when History Channel ran them) because that’s all she ever hears. The second the TV went off, you could still hear Corsairs. Seconds later, one flew right over the house. She gave me a look that pretty much said I netter not say anything.
Coolest moment EVER dealing with popular media… 8)
