Gary,
N6853C and N6857C were both still stored at Lafayette RAP LA in Jan08.
I have no reports on N7224C.

Gary,
One of my spies tells me that the pair at Lafayette have moved to Abbeville/Chris Crusta Memorial Airport.
As of 2nd January this year they were sitting in the open on the corner of Young A. Broussard Drive and Revis Sermon Loop.
Both have open doors and can be entered apparently.
Regards,
Andy Marden

Gary,

I stumbled upon this while searching for something else and thought of this post. It's post-Katrina pix from Louisiana.

It's N250X, the former R5O-5 BuNo 12487. Does anyone know if it is still there, or is it now Coke cans?

What a waste. Did you get a look inside them, Gary? Any plans for restoration on either one?

Once upon a time, mid 1980s?, there was a Lockheed twin engine plane in the twin cities. It was along Hwy 280 and about Larpenteur just north of the midway area. It was close to an electric sub station. What I remember about it was, it was a test bed for aviation instruments and lightning strikes. A program that Honeywell and maybe the University of Minnesota were working on? I though I had a newspaper artical on this plane but I could not find it. Does anyone know what happened to that plane? I think it was OD so it may have been a B-34 or C-60. Hugh
