Mudge, I don't think bailing out of a P-38 would be a challange to you...................now bailing into one---there's the challange.

For an airplane to climb or dive it has to change the angle of incidence of the wing. To do that, the tail has to go up or down. Whether it is enough to matter when falling out, I can't say!

My question is, what's the difference between bailing out of a P-38 and any other airplane? They all have tails...
