Sorry for the driveby yesterday, computer was down for a few days and we weren't done
reloading software, etc.

The webpage I referred to is at sovietwarplanes.com. Various Mig=3 recoveries and details
are followed there. Some of the links don't work, but there is plenty of stuff to keep one
amused. As DaveM2 said, the attempted runner Mikulin was an AM-38, an AM-38F to be
exact, and according to details and the page author, it probably came from an Il-2. Photos
of it running on the test stand at the bottom of the page. I hope, if it is still a possibility,
they're successful in getting it reliably running. :wink:
