So does anyone know any color schemes for the OD razorback P-47's?

Bill, if you are willing to share, what is your father's name? I can look in the Reed books for references. Ask him if he remembers Lt. Col. Erb taking a small group of P-38's of the 60th Crows deep into Burma for some subversive activity for a couple weeks in 45. Did he meet Lord Montbatten? My Dad was there at that time as well. Was he involved in the great deer hunt? My Dad is third from the right.

If your father is willing and able, please try to get as much video recorded of his history and recollections. Your Dad is one of the last from the CBI, the part of the war that no one paid attention to. His history should never be lost and needs to be captured, if possible. With the ultimate respect extended to him, I hope he would be willing to share his legacy.

In return, I would sponsor "mustangdriver" building the model you desire. I have much of my father's "memoribilia" and intend to help add to a CBI display at the Oshkosh Museum. Perhaps your father might have items as well?

Please convey my ultimate thanks and respect to your father. I am deeply moved that this thread has connected with him.

Kindest Regards,
Scott
