Well please make sure those of us who rebuilt it are mentioned by name :)
I still have one of the original mainwheels in my garage...... I would have had a lot more of it, but it was on loan to a local museum & the owner sold the parts off on Ebay... I still haven't caught up with him.. but you can rest assured that I will. :wink:

PA908, There were four of us in California Warbirds, Inc that decided to do a Spitfire. We were in the group that actively maintained the P-51 and T-6. I called just after PA908 was sold. Before I could locate another project, our structures engineer died suddenly. That put the end to our ability to do the type of rebuild we could have afforded at that time.

Well if your name is Pete Regina, the Van Nuys static restoration is well covered, including two images on site. If not...we have to draw the line somewhere. :)
