a26invader posted some photos of a flying Lansen at Satenas, Sweden
airshow last month...almost to the date, on this WIX thread...

The photo link, if you don't want to access the thread...

She looks a lot sweeter in her Swede Air Force colors..in my opinion..kinda
like a cross between a Starfire and F-86.

Tulio, what year was the book you referenced from published? 2 of the
Lansen's went to US Airpower Museum..and they are accounted for. The
3rd bird...N4767R, is unaccounted for...to my knowledge. Could your
photo example be N4767R? Where did she go?? Help anyone?

ps
US Airpower appears to be preparing one of the Lansen's for flight...'twood
be nice to see her in Swede colors!! Something different for a change!!

"Tulio, what year was the book you referenced from published? "

First edition 1994, reprint 1996 . . .

Last time I went to Mojave, I did not see any Lansens (which of course, does not mean that there were not any, just that I did not see any).

What I saw were several Aermacchi MB-326 Impalas, some still with South African AF markings on them, but alas, no Lansen.

Saludos,

Tulio

Robbie: You are probably thinking of the CALSPAN/NASA NT-33. It's been replaced by F-16 VISTA. Freakiest airplane in the world you would ever want to fly.....
