I was at Chino 2 weeks ago and Tony was flying the B25. Warm Temps, Blue Sky and a B25. That was a good day! JOE

Yeah, BDK, not sure who pi$$ed in your Cheerios, but yes I was talking about the B-25, but obviously got the tail number confused in my skull full of mush. I guess that is what happens when you are WIXing in traffic on your iPhone after a long day's work. I didn't intend it to be a mystery being that the tail number is in the picture, however as I saw one thing and wrote another it made it confusing. Anyhow, nevermind! I'll just email Carl if curiosity gets the best of me.

Just feeling a little ornery I guess! The stress gets to all of us. I've picked up the unfortunate habit lately of passing my destinations while driving...

Just what remains in the way of your dreams? How far does it have to go before it's airworthy?

Pacific Princess does have both engines installed BTW. Someone was washing the nacelles on Saturday.

Well, I still haven't stopped dreaming anyhow, so success keeps getting farther and farther away!

I've had the plane for 20 years now, so hopefully I can get it done before another 20 passes. It goes in spurts though. By the time I'm done I may need to start over- just like my last house!

I promised BDK that we will have that roundy round engine turning and burning by the end of the year. It looks like that shouldnt be a problem but now I'm commited. anybody wanna wrench on a T-6 for free? Never mind! maybe I should be commited

It was his " Wheaties" that got pi$$ed in,He told me he hates Cheerios. He also loves " Count Chocula" but has trouble finding it anymore.

Jim Merzian traded a Mosquito pile for them I believe.

All the SAAB 35 in the picture are ex. Danish Air Force and have nothing to do with Jim Merizan's Mosquito deal with the Swedish Air Force Museum. N543J is another story. That's an ex. Swedish Air Force J 35F (and later J 35F2) and was supposed to be a static display only aircraft in US! (Long story, another day maybe!) Btw FYI, "J 35F" is a Swedish military designation only (and not a SAAB or even Swedish Air Force designation) and never officially used by either Danish, Finnish or Austrian Air Forces! The Danish Drakens used NATO designations like F-35, TF-35, RF-35 and so on. Unlike the Finnish and the Austrian Drakens none of the Danish ones were ex. Swedish Air Force.

I actually got to see a SAAB Draken fly at Reno a few yrs. ago. It was on of the loudest jets I have ever heard fly.It was also one of the coolest. I have some pics somewhere and will post them asap
