Bowlus built gliders here on the west coast in the late '30s and 40's, along with trailers. They weren't in CT at one time, were they?

I wasn't anywhere the Corsair gathering, but this thing must have been on some kind of a display and it was a significant war effort contribution. Portable/Mobile/Emergency airfield control units (F.B.O's) or maybe Link Trainers. I'm just guessing, that's it for me....Good thread though.

I know I said I was through with this thing but Sikorsky got me back in..
What's the timeline, maybe pre-war? I know Vought/Sikorsky built flying boats. Do I get the fur-lined hockey pot award?

Better watch that Moxie stuff. I've heard it causes uncontrolled hair growth in all the wrong places, the vapors and gives you a uncontrollable urge to hunt for the White bird. Beware!!!!
