Now if we can only find the WWII bunker of pristine JU-88s somewhere under Berlin...ok i'm running for cover now!

Or in non-Press Release English, Postwar Handley Page Hastings parts will form the basis of reconstructing two Handley Page Halifaxes.

It's great news and a great achievement, but doesn't deserve to be overcooked.

we will begin the new project of rebuilding our batch of Bristol Hercules engines to running standard. We hope to have the first Hercules running by the summer of 2012 as we have some fine engineers volunteering for such a unique task with Hercules experts in the UK standing by to advise us in our refurbishment efforts.


Congrats on the find - so, will you be keeping a running Hercules on a stand as part of the display? Either way I'll be looking forward to the video next year!

Yes from what I understand, the pln is to have a Hercules running next summer!
