I've lived in the DC area for 76 years and I know, for a fact, that you can't drive from the Navy Yard to Norfolk, spend a few hours and get back before dinner. I know that you can't get from the Navy Yard to Quantico in 15 minutes. You can't even get out of DC in 15 minutes.

I know that the residents of West Virginia are not all mentally challenged.
You can pick some "glitch" out of every show, but I love it anyway.

They weren't the only ones that I was "able" to pick out - they were just the ones that I chose to focus on here.
As for driving around NCIS' usual jurisdiction, I've had that very same thought too many times to count. I remember times that it took over two hours just to get from Springfield VA to the Wilson Memorial Bridge (I-95) over the Potomac into Maryland. As for NCIS, there have been many times that dry, barren, brown mountains appear in the background of "local" scenes of DC, Quantico, and even Norfolk. Gotta love "Hollywood!"

Catherine Bell was always the BEST reason to watch JAG. Or was that ONLY?
