I should be there also. The fly-in's in the past have been very good. I'm hoping this is in par with those...but there will be some warbirds and it is somewhat close to home so I know I won't be disappointed.

I'll be carting a ton of camera gear with a tan boonie hat.

ill look for you tim. my name is justin, when I introduce myself if I find you, btw. Not sure what ill be wearing. going with my new P&S to see if its worth keeping or if ill return it, maybe replace it with a better one. We'll see.

Anyways, yeah im hoping for a good showing. either way, ill be glad to get down that way and see what middle TN has to offer. i may leave a little early from my house and stop through John C. Tune on the way past Nashville.

Anyone know what time the gates open for the fly-in? parking fee? admission fee?

8-5pm with free admission and parking. I'm going as well, likely standing near the guy with the tan boonie hat.

The first arrival, the Red Knight: http://youtu.be/H_SVq-6uEOM

Hey Tim, BK, and marine air (sorry your name is escaping me right now!), good to meet you guys and talk on Saturday. Was a good time!

It was a good fly-in all things considered. With 5 Stearmans (ok 4 and a NAF N3N), 6 Yak/CJ-6s, and 7 T-34s, among other things, there sure were plenty of aircraft there, and most of those aircraft were flying all day! There wasnt much down time, considering it was a fly-in. None of the big Iron ever showed up, sadly. Rumors of 2 P-51s, a B-17, a B-25, a Sea Fury, a Yak-9, and an Apache all were swirling, but none ever showed. It was a good day nonetheless.

ill post more pics this week, but for now, here are a couple previews
