Single-pilot, and only wide enough for one up-front.

Definitely no room up front of an 89 for two, barely enough room for one  The 90 has the two seats up front as you say but its pretty tight and due to the taper of the nose your feet are offset buy a couple inches which gives you a sore back after a couple of hours flying it.
Love the 89, the 90 is nicer looking but the 89 flies nice, the extra weight and the 6 cylinder engines make all the difference.

That's from the man who flies them all, the DH 82, 83, 84, 89, and 90. Plus others....

I have been lucky to be in the right place at the right time, still a few more I would like to have Dave, maybe a P-40 or Lysander, just need to convince Mike

I love de Havilland aircraft, there is a certain thing about them, I'm just glad to be able to keep them going and share them with others.

Well Ryan, if you offer to trade rides with Frank or Liz P, a Rapide flight for a P-40 flight, they might very well say yes.

You can ride in a Lysander up here, but stick-time in it is a bit harder to arrange!

Might just have to come for a visit if there is potential for a Lysander ride. I will have to have a chat with Frank and Liz about a swap.
By the way when are you guys going to get a Rapide, tell Mike there is one sitting here in need of finishing (70% done) and would look awfully nice sitting on the tarmac in Canada.

That sounds intersting, Ryan. I sent you an email to your blackdragon address.

Cheers,
