Sorry for the delay in replying guys. I originally typed up a reply on my ipad, but I guess I never submitted it. I have also been studying a lot and I'm trying to get my instrument rating done before my trip to Florida next week so I can use all that flight time towards my commercial rating.

Thanks for the info so far on the headsets/helmets/mics. I started looking around at the different headsets, but haven’t decided anything yet. I definitely need to look into everything more, but at least i now know where I need to start and what I need to be looking for.

Another question I have now. After looking at the adapter Ken posted, I saw there was a GA->Military adapter as well. Has anyone ever used this? Is there a difference in going from the military-civilian or civilian to military from a sound quality standpoint?

Yes I am Mustang. I have been a member there for three years now. I actually started working there by redoing the entire landscaping in front of the hangar for a school community service project that was required for graduation. I had already been a member, but was not really active until then. I figured by doing that both the museum and I could both benefit. Once I finished that, I began working on the T-28 and as of lately, I have been helping with the Pig's annual, and rebuilding the L-21 once again. If I'm not working on aircraft, then im doing something around the hangar. My project for this year is to completely redo the museum room and make a complete inventory of all the artifacts we have. I think I have seen previously while just reading the forum that you were an old member. We recently got a new website. http://airheritage.org/

Great job. Yeah this was the first place I was a member. It was a great time. I helped finish up the L-21 along with Rob and Bob Morelli. I worked on the B-26 marauder and P-47 when we had it, then the A-20, and the Collings Foundation B-25. I also helped with the P-51 Mustang that was there until we lost them in the DT deal. Some really great memories there. Tell Virgil and Tom Walton I said hi.
