Well said. I've been thinking the same thing quietly on the side. If the crated Spitfires end up being junk, well, then at least we know ... and if they are does that mean that absolutely nothing of value will come from the discovery? If that P-40 had been a fake, then at least we'd know. If this SBD is good, bad, or junk, let's get it up and see what we've got; the only other option is to decide to forever abandon it and that doesn't jive. I guess I just don't understand the human trait that likes to "call the election before the results are in". Timely answers are neither early nor late, they come when the info is ready.
