Che bell'aeroplano !

From what i can gather the pilot(s) were very careful not to push AOA,or attempt horizontal maneuvers beyond certain limitations,the rest is beautiful,especially in the vertical.

The Polikarpov was the most advanced fighter of its time,first monoplane,retractable undercarriage(manually,yes),enclosed cockpit(dispensed with later).

Yes the pilots do not want to fly them, i dont exactly why... you can come here and ask them if you'd like. Having had to move them out of the hangar for the airshow the past 2 shows... i know why i wouldnt but im just a mech and dont fly them.
