Warbird Information Exchange

In the midd-ish 70's there was a beautiful HOWARD 500 with semi eliptical, sort of cats eye shaped dark tinted cabin windows, a fabulous white with metallic root beer brown paint job that was in and out of Lake Front Airport in N.O. a lot. One day it was seized and found to be full with the raw material for several thousand Left Wing LUCKIES.
Last time I saw it was @ N.A.S. Calander in Nov. of '76 stripped of paint and pushed off on a back corner of a ramp area.

Is the Lodestar still at Bowman Field in Louisville? IIRC, wasn't that ship was a drug runner that was abandoned "on the spot" and has been there ever since? You don't even have to venture into a swamp to recover it. If it's still there, it's sitting on the ramp.
