Whilst this Albatross is beautiful, my personal favourite WW1 fighter is quite definitely the SE5a and should I win the lottery I will be on the first plane to NZ to place an order !

I was at Fantasy Of Flight in 2011 at the time of Sun-n-Fun and I swear I only went thru the hanger that's connected to the Compass Rose restaurant and now on the video of Kermit flying the Albatross he flies past and it looks like another hanger next to it with his C-47 in it. I read where he built a storage hanger(s) across the road and they are there in the flight video. I had taken the tram tour to the hanger near the Connie and took the restoration tour but I don't remember another hanger . Is it new or am I blind? I went thru my photos from the visit and I don't have any facing the hangers. Help!!! A lot can change in a year and a half. I looked at his website and the google earth of it shows the Connie at the end of the runway near the interstate by the C-47 on the pole, and in the video it's where I seen it last year near the hanger where he kept his mustangs and where his B-25 was parked.

Sorry to say, but that hangar has always been there. North and South hangar are attached in main building with Compass Rose, Gift Shop and Wood and Engine shops. Maintenance hangar is across runway... Been the same for years.
On Albatros... Found this video of Kermit flying same Albatros, but this time he has a GoPro helmet camera on and gives us the pilots perspective on flying it... calls it his, "Kermie Cam". Pretty cool. Check it out.

They only recently started giving tours over to it however. When I was there in '06 they didn't. They are also giving tours of the remote storage area which Kermit likens to Silver Hill. So in addition to the onsite storage and restoration shop tours, you can really kill a whole day there now.
