Try the Do 24ATT with it's 'loveseat' in the former midships gun position.

N19Q is the aircraft I referred to in my post.

Thanks for posting it.

Anyone know its fate?
It's not registered as N19Q today and no record of a mishap on the NTSB website.

N19Q was lost in an open sea landing off Monte Carlo on August 15th 1972 after the hull was holed. It sank and was not recovered. At the time it was registered to a company owned by Hollywood actor James Stewart. It was c/n 1584, ex-N5804N and BuAer34030.

for story and pictures of the cat in color in water, look at www.phoctopus.com, look at wreck catalina. some other infos on an heinkel 111 in the mediterraneen see. teh accident seems due to an heavy sea.
