This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Try the Do 24ATT with it's 'loveseat' in the former midships gun position.

Here's one with the boats under the wings. N19Q at Homestead General around 1965.

Exactly where this crazy PBY idea came from.

N19Q is the aircraft I referred to in my post.
Thanks for posting it.
Anyone know its fate?
It's not registered as N19Q today and no record of a mishap on the NTSB website.

How can you launch this rocket without a pic?
For shame.

N19Q was lost in an open sea landing off Monte Carlo on August 15th 1972 after the hull was holed. It sank and was not recovered. At the time it was registered to a company owned by Hollywood actor James Stewart. It was c/n 1584, ex-N5804N and BuAer34030.

Easily.

Sorry, my photos aren't to hand.
For shame.
OK, as you asked nicely.

You can see it quite well here. The cupola and seat (IIRC) can be rotated by the handle on the side.
