I'll be out there also. Probably won't go to the show until Sunday, as I like visiting the Carson and Minden Airports while in the area. I'll stop by and pick up a shirt on sunday Steve........

Steve/Mike, those of us who can't make it over to Reno want LOTS of photos to make up for our misfortune.

The UK Patty Cheerleading Team will be raising a glass or two in support.

Since, I missed meeting any WIXers in Detroit, forgot the time and location for group photo. I am inviting all WIXers to stop by our T-6 pit for a cool beverage and walkaround of the plane.

I wonder if the Wildfire racer has had any progress as of late. The info at their website looks to be a bit dated.

Steve

All the best mate - Lots of sucess - you make your own luck.

By the way if the others are coming at you then you are going the wrong way - Just a helpful little hint for you. Please don't blow that engine just yet. Lots of paperwork to do real soon here.

Regards
John p

Well, Randy I have a polishing rag with your name on it, left wing or right. wax on, wax off. If you do a good enough job will even let you ride in the fire truck  Think of this as practice for when you bring your T6.

The NAG Shack in the pits has a bulletin board, this may be the best way to post a meeting time.

After we qual (Tues/Weds) I will know if our open day is Sat or Sun. I will post an invite on the NAG BB to WIXers stop by our pit on the open day for a T-6 social hour or two.

Steve, looking forward to checking out your machine, set aside a 2xl long sleeve for me.

Warren

No problem on a shirt Warren, we'll definately do a little "swapping" when we get to Reno.

I've been out flying my T-6 today, as the weather is absolutely beautiful here in the midwest. The Sea Fury is getting some minor last minute things done, but I expect to get her in the air Monday or Tuesday. I plan on flying down to Ezell's on the 8th, and then on to Reno the next day with the Breckenridge Boys.

Countdown continues! I see there are new pictures of September Pops up on Warbird Aeropress.... and sounds like Rare Bear is in flight test after the wing mod... Howard's Fury has a newly installed 3350...

One thing I noticed is how different the spinner size is on the different Fury's. Below are links to pics.

Howard's

Steve's

Details, details... will be fun to see the differences in the Mustangs and Fury's in attendance.

16 days until Reno!
