Authentic-ish would probably be more accurate. I think all of them have been wrecked, rebuilt, and repainted multiple times since they were recovered though! Good info and pictures in the thread below.

Don't know that we're voting on this.....but for what it's worth I LOVE the paint scheme on the LSFM's P-47 Thunderbolt "Tarheel Hal!" I saw it for the first and only time at the 2011 Wings Over Houston Air Show, and I look forward to seeing it again someday.

Hope someday we get a good gathering of at least 5 to 7 flying Thunderbolts that will incude Tarheel Hal.
