SNJ-3 01796 was close but didn't get created for another 22 days. Dec 29th 41 was the acceptance date.
Some components of the structure have dates prior to the 7th though.

(Serial number 4906 shows up as a D17S, constructed in 1943, imported to Canada in 2011, now registered C-GYDJ in British Columbia.)


In fact it's a UC-43, not a UC-63. You'd better had checked your US Military Aircraft Since 1909. Check my almost completed production list on www.beech17.net
