That Ju-52 is SICK! Forgive my ignorance, is it a flyer?

The JU-52 is indeed a flyer, as are most of the aircraft at the Military Aviation Museum. Here's a couple of pics of "Tante-Ju" at an airshow in North Carolina in Oct of 11. We rode in her down to the airshow, and it was great fun...as long as you're not in a hurry!! 110 kias +/- at 3000 feet over the autumn countryside -- very nice trip!

Many, many years ago when this Casa 352 (aka Ju 52) was with the Great Lakes Wing of the CAF, it was flying along the Chicago lakefront headed for Oshkosh that summer. It was traveling so slow I thought it was going to fall out of the sky. No wonder they were easy pickings for the RAF over the Mediterranean as they attempted to supply the German army in North Africa.
