Thanks for the update, a noble effort to say the least and a fine effort at that. I wonder if this proposal will interest you. This may (or may not) require some sitting down time on your part to put together a financial wish list, not for an overall number to complete the project or rounded off type of numbers, but numbers that directly involve a particular task to be complete or part to be purchased. For instance: "Wings - we need a set of ammo cans and feed belts as well as all of the gun bay locking handles. If I could get one of them we could make copies. We do need one door replaced". I'm sure there are the usual problems of 'finding' such items, but if found just exactly what would be the cost of this task? Many folks who have an interest in financially contributing to any worth while endeavor usually like to see a 'financial plan', one that they can digest and contribute to a particular item or task in a logical, and most important, in a vested sense of belonging to the final outcome of the project. I'm quite certain you are already aware of such proposals. I haven't looked but you may already have a breakdown listed somewhere on your groups website? I think you may see where I'm going here. I certainly cannot invest time as a volunteer but over the years I have been researching the idea of some sort of contribution to a noble warbird group or project. I gave a good look to an outfit close to my location a few years ago (without naming the organization) found not to be of my interest after all. Nothing bad to say about the group as a whole. Shame as they have an airplane I very much have an interest in. Your airplane I have an interest in as well. In this day and age investors want to know exactly where their contributions are going and how it's being used. I'm sure you agree with that as well.
Keep up your great work.
Welcome to PM me anytime.
