Hi All,

B-17 3463 “Round Trip?” never left the U.S. and B-40 “Lucy Belle” looks to me to be done by the same artist for the movie for more drama? All the combat YB-40s names are known except for one, maybe this is the one? And four YB-40s never went overseas. In any event the survivors return to the U.S. to be used as gunnery trainers.

The tail code RC is the Second A.F. code letters for Rapid City Army Air Base, S. Dak, and AR for Ardmore Army Air Field, Okla.
