Please check any photos you might have of F4U-5N/-5NL types for Bureau Number '124541'. The Corsair currently owned by MeierMotors flew with the "Flying Nightmares" from February - November of 1952. No one has yet been able to determine which "buzz" number was applied to the plane during its deployment.

Nice pic of heavy activities on the deck full of F4Us c. 1950s!

Does the pic have a specific date, aircraft carrier of that incident?? To find a NP F4U Corsair #42 is quite interesting. Plz tell us what the caption of that photo says.

p.s Are there any other angles of the same picture??

Tks again for the info & data. F4U-5N Buno 124715 (FAH 609) clipped the right wing with another unid aircraft around the same time frame.Korea c. 1951-1952.

p.s Plz keep posting all those low resolution unwanted pictures. I believe We are getting warm in finding NP#30!!

Found one showing 42 and 39 but no 30.

The info/data of a poss F4U-5N NP #30 Buno 124715 is of c.1952 while on USS Bon Homme Richard, Korea era.The pilot's name was Ogle,Edward Jr. Tks
