CP 973 44-77545 is the only flying C46 with a combat history having taken part in Operation Varsity. See my listing here 44-77545 was flying as Chalk39

Although not a flyer you may also be interested to read about the only other surviving C46 with a combat history that also took part in Operation Varsity that I have researched

If anybody has an other information about the Curtiss Commandos that the 313th Troop Carrier Group flew I would be very glad to hear from you.
