Maybe the US services should go back to the prewar star-and-dot. Less likely to promote alcoholism. Although restorers still manage to get it wrong, usually by making the dot too big.

If you really want to be driven to drink, try getting the 1950s RCAF roundel right. It's a good thing Canadians have better beer.
