These guys are in a big hurry to get away with the airplane but yet have enough time to attach cameras.... They do get some cool airplanes though

That show is so fake! I was watching the show the other day and they were repo'ing a Cub and he was flying along and claimed he was almost out of fuel and they focused on the compass which I thought was weird but then it went to commercial. When the show came back on they repeated the scene saying he was almost out of fuel and they showed the compass again, this time I noticed the heading which was 090 which means the compass showed a big E!!! I guess they were trying to fool people into thinking that it was the fuel gauge. Not to mention why the hell he took off without checking the fuel visually or at least looking in front of him at the fuel gauge on the nose..

Unfortunately the show is way bogus. The aircraft are cool.

Look you folks, there's a lot of things that Hollywood 'is', but there's one thing that Hollywood 'isn't' ... And that's 'stupid'!. Hollywood knows how to make money, and a lot of it. They've been doing it well for years and reality shows, no matter how unrealistic and foolish, are bread and butter for them and they've been being made for years. There's no secret that reality shows are garbage in, garbage out and anyone with even a small bit of brain power knows what their MO is. Corporate Hollywood could care less the complaints of a hundred, a thousand or even ten thousand people. They only care about ratings by millions which translates into millions and millions of $$$. Hollywood laughs at the reality show complainers all the way to the bank. They make celebrities out of knuckleheads everyday. Hollywood could care less about who the Kardashians are but rather how much more money that nutcase family can make for all involved. Hollywood has no conscience that bothers them and they sleep quite well at night. Hollywood is an ruthless industry and a factory that keeps churning out what's always in demand no matter the subject or controversy. Ratings, ratings, ratings = $$$ ... That's it!!! Plain and simple. Their attitude is if you don't like it, think it's crap, turn the channel and shut up because there are thousands and thousands of trailer parks loaded with people who can't seem to get enough of this garbage entertainment. Don't ever waste your time or insult your intelligence wondering what's real or what isn't real. It's ALL junk. Always has been, always will be. Hollywood knows how to hook people to trash TV, it's not hard and they've been at it for years.
How do I know? Hollywood has 'knocked on my door' a few times over the years looking for new locations to exploit the gullible. I sometimes say yes to commercial shoots, but no to reality BS. Problem is it's getting harder to tell the difference anymore. Is Hollywood evil? Maybe to some, but personally I have no beef with Hollywood. Hollywood is no different than any other successful business that puts the almighty dollar before any other factor. Do I like this approach? H*ll no! But I certainly understand it and I luckily have the option of turning my back to the trash that Hollywood usually churns out.
Those who watch this reality nonsense and feel the need to complain must need to know that their complaints fall on deaf ears in Hollywood and that there's no one to blame but themselves if they get hooked. Turn off the TV and go outside. Go fly or work on an airplane somewhere.
BTW I use the term 'Hollywood' as a general statement as it's not just Hollywood folk who create reality shows. And don't ask me if I ever got a bit hooked on a reality show before because I'll lie and tell you no I never watched one episode of "world's dangerous catch" lol

On the tangent of Hollywood, they do fabricate soo much. I just finished the book "In the footsteps of the band of brothers" where they actually went to the battlefields and skirmishes of the 101st. Even with that they embelished the crossroads scene wich was appx 100 men and no bridge. Brecourt manor was not a WW1 style trench but a hedge row field. Hollywood is nothing but entertainment with a hint of reality

Precisely correct! as Hollywood was never intended or designed to be anything other than entertainment. The thought of reality and realism is usually in hindsight when it comes to the bottom line ... $$$
BOB was / is and outstanding series and one that hints of realism at times but it's ultimate intention is for entertainment value, but still quite far from the reality of war back then. For every minute of shear terror of battle there were many, many hours of boredom which understandably BOB lacked to portray. The Hollywood machine is what it is and that will never change. Guys like Spielberg have tried with a certain amount of success to bring a sense of realism to their movies and series, but even those guys are entertainment driven more so that realism driven. Entertainment investors are only interested in the realism of profit. Can't blame them either.

Actually that may have been a one of a kind DC-3. If you watch when they are turning over the left engine, the prop turns clockwise.....very rare indeed, never seen another one like it! How the heck do you manage to flip a digital recording?!

Most of the public is ignorant to the fact these types of shows are fake. I have neighbors that come up to me and tell me about the latest episode(c-47) and I tell em the show is just that , a show. They say I'm just a curmudgeon and I reply yes I am and the show is still fake. People are d am ned naieve

There are video editors out there that have the ability to rotate and flip the image just about any way you want to.

You know the show is fake when the guy tries to repo the helicopter, the "angry" owner comes up with a cop, and while the repo guy is showing the cop the paperwork on the hood of his patrol car, the owner sneaks off and flies the helicopter away. All the cops that I've had encounters with (

) have been very good at controlling the people they're dealing with, they would notice a guy sneaking off.

there is a disclaimer at the end of every episode. says reinacted events to protect the real repo guys and debters or something along those lines. I still like the show.

Talking of fake aircraft.... I just had a neighbor tell me that years ago he won a flight in the backseat(??) of a BD5 jet, during which the pilot did "100 barrel rolls that took over an hour"

And I thought all of the good LSD was gone with the 60's!

I think you have a good perspective on this.

I think that would fit a broad definition of evil.
(Mark's post edited for key thoughts)
If they would just get rid of that ADHD cameraman, I could probably watch this junk.
There was a documentary on a few months ago, about old radial engine airplanes operating in South America.
It did not have any 'fancy' editing (no zoominzoomout, no white flash to the next scene) and the cameraman apparently used a
tripod to support his camera or a steady hand otherwise.
I enjoyed it the presentation. I have watched my first and last episode of Airplane repo.
