I looked into this once out of curiosity, assuming that it was way beyond what I could afford. I was right. My wife would probably seriously consider divorce for even suggesting it as a joke...

A dream since I was ten years old realized. It was worth the wait and every penny! :supz:
The pilot (Lumpy) is an awesome guy and fantastic pilot. :drink3: I can't believe how smooth and steady the flight was. If you ever had the thought that you might want a warbird flight, don't wait another minute, book it, do it, love it! There were some nice other aircraft there as well (Tony B's P-51 Petie 2nd, SB2C, PB4Y, Corsair, SBD, B-17, B-29, C-45, T-6 (s) Navions. A really nice prequel to Oshkosh. Some pics Here:

While I'd love to take a hop in a Phantom, I think I'll put that money into parts for a P-51 project. instead...
