I haven't really asked, but I don't think there has been much done in a while. Doesn't look like it would be too far off though once they get back on it.

Have they FINALLY finished that frickin' Hurricane for the Lone Star museum? Seen it being restored a million times but swore it was never gonna see the light of day...glad to hear it's close.

At any rate, looks like it will be an exciting year for first flights if even a FEW of them happen...and that's great news on 'Doc'...

How is the Red Tail Project (CAF P-51C) going?

Isn't there hope to get that back in the air this coming year? I hope so, she is a beautiful machine and it was very nice to she her at Geneseo a couple years in a row.

Our plan all along was to have her back in the air by mid to late summer '06, but due to lack of funding it's not likely at this point. I/we are hoping to turn the right leaf over to make the Mustang round up in June '07 a reality. We are entertaining any and all offers of project support at this time. If you, anybody know, or any company you know of would be interested in supporting this worthwhile cause, please feel free to contact me or the rest of the Red Tail Board through the our website.

Thanks,
John Beyl
